Founded by the endowed footwear and apparel designer Sahle Jack and cultivated enthusiast with a monotonous plan, Biella Hommè has established a creative society where sneakers aren’t just bases for walking and clothes aren’t just bodily cover ups. Each piece is an incomparable one that displays a coalition between style, individuality and comfort. Biella Hommè is where the Italian tradition meets pure American craftsmanship with the everlasting concept of style and forward movement. Eradicating any cliché that defines the a la mode and replacing it with pieces that exhibit character and personality- Biella Hommè exudes the fashionably inclined mind while maintaining originality.

THE DESIGNER:

       Born on the beautiful island of Trinidad, who knew  25 years later he would achieve such great success. Sahlè Selassie Jack was born on July 15, 1987 in San Fernando, Trinidad, where he lived for 5 years before his parents migrated to the states and settled in Brooklyn, NY- The County of Kings.

Growing up in Brooklyn, Sahlè always had a love for art. Drawing and sketching were his favorite pastimes and he had a creative eye for shades, and designs.  As he got older he took more of an interest in designing and began freelancing, designing flyers, tattoos, invitations, and logos for individuals and companies. Perfecting his craft, he landed an internship with Rocawear at the early age of 15, where he worked with the development and apparel department. Working at Rocawear he met his first love apparel design, and such elaborate training prepped Sahle for what would be his true destiny. The internship gave him a sense of direction and created a passion.  Sahle wanted to design clothes and create a brand that would commingle different styles and cultures. He wanted to develop something that would make a legendary fashion statement and achieve longevity in the fashion industry.
After his internship ended, he attained a position with Fila, where he was a footwear/apparel designer for 5 years.  Relishing in the amazing opportunities within Fila and gaining extensive experience, he knew it was his time to join the fashion world and present his own collection of art-

Biella Hommè.
Biella Hommè  is an accumulation of embellished pieces all designed by Mr. Jack himself.  The uniqueness of his designs comes from his artistic inspirations rather than actual fashion. Stimulated by athletic wear and artists like the infamously unseen Banksy, the popular pop artist Shepard Fairey, and the classic Pablo Picasso, each piece of Biella Hommè has an actual artistic background conjoined with fashion outlines.
